When is the wedding?

Where is the wedding taking place?
The Village Barn, Main St, Ballykilmore, Tyrrellspass, Co. Westmeath, Ireland.
Will there be parking at the venue?
Yes! Parking for guests is available on the main street and is free of charge.
Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony itself will take place indoors.
The venue also has a lovely outdoor area, so parts of the day will be spent outside.
Can I bring a plus one?
Please refer to the names listed on your invitation when replying.

Is there anything happening the next day
Yes! We’re planning a nice chilled pub day at Fox's Bar & Grocery on Tuesday 28th July from 2pm with pizza being served in the afternoon.

What time should I arrive?
The wedding ceremony starts at 2pm, so we recommend arriving at the venue around 1pm.
How do I get there and where should I stay?

What’s the dress code?
We’re going for a relaxed summer wedding. Please wear something you feel comfortable celebrating in.
Do I need to RSVP?
Yes please. It really helps us with planning.
Kindly respond by 31st March.
Are children invited?
Invited children are specified on individual invitations.

How should I get to and from the venue?
If you’re planning to use a taxi to get to the venue, we recommend booking in advance, as availability in the area can be limited. You’ll find taxi numbers listed on the Travel & Accommodation page.
At the end of the wedding night (12.30am), we’re organising a coach to take guests back to Bloomfield House Hotel and Mullingar. Please let us know via the RSVP form if this would be helpful.​

The venue also has an 8-seater courtesy bus that runs from 10pm until an hour after closing time. It can drop guests back within 5km of Tyrrellspass Village.

Otherwise if you are staying further afield, it may be worth booking a taxi in advance.
Is there a gift registry?
We don’t have a gift registry, celebrating with you is more than enough for us.
For those who want to give something, a contribution towards our honeymoon would be warmly appreciated, but please don’t feel any obligation.
